JROTC Cadets Learn to Rappel

As part of the JROTC curriculum, cadets have several opportunities to rappel. The City of Mobile allows JROTC instructors to use the Firefighters Training facility where cadets learn the safety and physical aspects required to rappel. After extensive safety checks and safety instruction, cadets climb the tower that simulates a 4 storey building. Experienced Army JROTC instructors lead students through the rappelling process.

Baker HS JROTC Cadet Serves as State Officer

Cadet Danielle Blitch (holding the certificate), from Baker High School, served as a Vice-President for the JROTC State Career Tech Student Organization for this school year. All State Career Tech Student Organizations are represented on the board made up of students from throughout the State. Thank you Danielle, for being willing to serve.

Hyundai Plant Welcomes Citronelle High School Students

Citronelle High School Commerce and Information Technology students were welcomed to the Hyundai Manufacturing Plant in Montgomery, AL. on February 24, 2017. Students were able to tour the plant and talk to employees about the skills needed to work in the facility. Due to security policies, the group was not allowed to take photos within the plant itself, but students were able to take time for a photo op before the tour.
