Health Science students are gearing up for certification testing in March. Students in the Health Science pathways work towards certifications in the following areas: Certified Nursing Assistant, CPR, and Patient Care Tech. Many of these same students are also members of the Career Tech Student Organization for Health Science called HOSA. HOSA offers students the opportunity to develop leadership skills specific to Health Science by hosting conferences, offering competition opportunities, community service, and internships. November 6-12, 2016, was national HOSA week for this school year. Mobile County Public Schools HOSA chapters participated in many activities to spotlight what students are doing: daily HOSA announcements, guest speakers, and business tours. HOSA and Health Science students are looking forward to completion of the upcoming student certifications.
