Health Science students at the Bryant Career Technical Center are using the most advanced wireless patient simulator on the market to mimic human cardiovascular, respiratory and neurological system functions.

The Health Science curriculum provides a comprehensive plan of relevant and rigorous course work and training that reflects the skill sets needed by a changing global economy.

According to Courtney Taylor, R.N., BCTC Health Science instructor, patient simulators are used to assist with training future health care professionals throughout the country and we want our students to see the value of using technology to enhance learning by simulating real-world situations.”

Career and Technical Education is bridging the gap between what is expected of a high school graduate and what the world beyond high school demands through our Health Science curriculum.

"Our goal is to make our students college and career-ready by exposing them to a variety of healthcare related skills and opportunities," said Principal Thomas Reed.
