The Manufacturing cluster prepares students for careers in planning, managing, and performing the processing of materials into intermediate or final products. Careers also include related professional and technical support activities such as production planning and control, maintenance and manufacturing/process engineering. Learning activities simulate types of work environments students may encounter, which include opportunities to gain knowledge and skills through coordinated workplace learning experiences. The classroom and laboratory for this cluster provide a safe and appropriate setting for active, structured and stimulating student learning and assessment.
